TikTok is launching a new university Creative Agency Partnership (CAP) program designed to help creative agencies become “TikTok experts,” the company announced Wednesday. The company says the five-week program will teach participants what they need to know to get started with TikTok and how to use the platform to improve their marketing game.

“CAP University is committed to inspiring next-level creative content on the world’s fastest growing entertainment platform,” TikTok said in a blog post about the announcement. “Upon completion of the program, nominees will be able to engage in conversations with their clients, design and concept for the platform, and continue to manage their clients’ businesses. Most importantly, applicants gain a new understanding of the creative possibilities on and off the stage. ,

The courses will be delivered as live webinars and will begin on April 19th. The sessions will cover a variety of topics and help creative agencies gain basic knowledge of TikTok and provide tips on how to move forward with client relationships. The final session is designed to help creative agencies dive deeper into TikTok’s internal marketing platform, the Creator Marketplace.

TikTok’s new educational initiatives allow the company to try to forge new partnerships with creators as well as better position agencies to advertise on the platform.
