The second day of the 2022 Y Combinator Winter Demo Day is behind us, and the gaming-updates team is looking back at hundreds of presentations in quick succession. Each demo day of the accelerator is a marathon, but American Group has worked with a large number of startups over time, turning pitch sessions into a real stream of new companies and founders.

Recall that about 400 companies out of 414 companies were represented at the YC Demo Day. So gaming-updates approached the band from different angles. What follows is our recap of the day’s events so you can dive into the specific areas that matter most to you.

Yesterday, we took a look at promising startups from Africa that are in fintech, crypto-focused, and competitive with each other, and we’ve compiled a list of favorites. Today we take a look at AI startups, open source-focused companies, and, yes, even more favorites.

Remember that this year Y Combinator changed its standard deal and added more capital for each funded company. This means the startups in his latest group are better funded than ever. And we’re seeing some signs that investors are paying more for stock in the current batch of YC Demo Day than in years past. This is an auspicious time to start a growing technology company. Let’s see what’s being built!
